FORMER ADMINISTRATIONS  

Amendment l, Section 1: A Senior Council shall exist with the purpose of addressing issues which pertain to student life at Wabash college, especially the promotion of campus unity.

Amendment l, Section 6a: The Senior Council shall act independently of the Student Senate.

Article V, Section 2: The [Senior Council] shall serve as the intermediaty body between the members of the Student Body and the faculty and administration of the College, and shall cooerate with the faculty and administratiron in all matters of common interest and mutual benefit (as ammended by Amendment l, Section 5).

Article V, Section 3: The responsibilities for the maintenance of a proper regard for all traditions, customs and rules of the College, or change thereof, shall rest within the [Senior Council] (as amended by Amendment l, Section 5).

Article lV, Section 1: The legislative authority of this organization shall be vested in the Student Senate of Wabash College.

Article V, Section 4: The Student Senate shall have the sole authority to recognize student organizations and activities; it shall have the further authority to revoke recognition as it sees fit. The recognition of any student organization or activity which qualifies as inactive by the policies of the Student Senate shall automatically be withdrawn.

Article V, Section 6: The Student Senate shall have the final authority to interpret this constitution.

Article Vl, Section 2: The Student Senate shall have the sole authority to apportion and regulate the disposal and use of the assets of this organization. All goods purchased with funds from the assets of this organization shall be the property of the Student Body and the use thereof shall be regulated by the Student Senate.

Amendment l, Section 6b: By two-thirds majority vote, the Student Senate shall have the ability to overrule decisions of the Senior Council.
