Welcome to the Friends of Wabash Crew page. This page is designed to let you know how you can help Wabash Crew grow and prosper. We've been fortunate to recieve generous support from both the Student Senate and College in funding our Crew's operations and purchasing new equipment. As mentioned earlier we now own a year-old Vespoli racing four (Lil' Bash). To propell this craft we have our own set of eight Concept II dreissigacker adjustable handled oars, as well as six brand new oars of the same type (2000). We also purchased a used Kaschper '88 sectional racing eight from the University of Richmond (Vir Aeternus). This was purchased through a generous financing program set up by President Ford and the Wabash administration and we have now totally paid this boat off. We own a boat trailer capable of carrying both boats that is owned by the college, although it will receive extensive maintenance in the off-season. We've also purchased a few spare parts and a Cox-Box.

Although this may sound like a lot, it only barely covers our needs. Competitive rowing is a very expensive sport that uses very expensive and specialized equipment. The costs are just too high to expect the Student Senate to cover alone. We need your help to keep Wabash Crew on the water. Here is a partial list of things that we desperately need in the near future.

• New Vespoli eight with spare parts and extra seats
• Spare parts for a 1988 Kaschper
• Instructional rowing books and videos
• Sponserships for individual regattas, seasons, and rowers
• A one-ton truck capable of pulling a very large trailer, with a 2 1/4 inch ball
• and much, much more
