Overview of the Program

The Yorkshire Program at York St. John University provides individualized study-abroad experiences for students from U.S. colleges and universities. Rooted in the liberal arts tradition, The Yorkshire Program welcomes students from a wide range of majors to study in England for a semester or an academic year. Participants are quickly integrated into life at York St. John. Extensive pre-departure counseling and on-site orientation ensure that each participant is ready to take their place in the college community.

Participants enroll in regular York St. John University courses alongside traditional three-year students. They live in college accommodations, dispersed among British and international students from around the world. Each participant will be housed in a single room and may select either a self-catering flat with a shared kitchen or a traditional hall with meal vouchers provided, to use on campus as they wish. Participants in the Yorkshire Program may avail themselves of a full range of student clubs and sports activities as well as cultural, religious and musical groups on campus and in the larger community.

All full-time undergraduate students enrolled in accredited 4-year U.S. colleges and universities are welcome to apply. The Yorkshire Program is administered by Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
