Download Excel Site

Welcome to the download site for the Microsoft Excel workbook that accompanies "The Treatment of Aggregation in Modern Economic Analysis" (presented at the 1998 HES Conference in Montreal). The Excel workbook demonstrates a few fundamental lessons about aggregation. The file is readable by Excel versions 5.0 and higher and contains Visual Basic macros in order to control the simulation. Excel97 and higher users may be prompted by a dialog box warning that the file has embedded macros. The "Enable Macros" option must be chosen in order to properly use the workbook. To download this 700K workbook, simply click on the workbook's name below:

NOTE: Different browsers will handle this download differently. Experiences will vary all the way from having to save the file to disk, then launching Excel and opening the file to having your browser do all of this for you (if you have Excel properly configured as a helper application).
